As you will no doubt know by now, the Augustinians are holding our Provincial Chapter in Limerick later this month.
The Youth Commission has been invited to participate in this important event. It is important to take advantage of this opportunity to let the Augustinians know what young people would like from them and how young people would like to become involved in what is happening in our local areas.
During our trip to Italy there were some really good suggestions about what this involvement could be.
If there is something you would like to be included in the presentation please let Noel know. If you were on the trip to Italy you should already have my email or else speak to one of your local Augustinians.
Our participation in the Chapter will have three aspects:
1: We have been invited to give a presentation to the chapter. This will be given by Noel (Ballyboden), Niall (Drogheda) and Conaill (Ballyboden).
2: We have been invited to animate one of the liturgies of the chapter which will be on Tuesday 23rd of June. Niall will be inviting musicians to participate. If anyone else would like to be involved get in touch with Noel in Ballyboden.
3: Two of the group who travelled to Italy will spend the week at the chapter. They will help to run the blog, take care of the bookshop and - most importantly - will be invited to respond to one of the speakers from the perspective of the youth commission.
