International Youth Meeting

AYE - Augustinian Youth Encounter will take place in London next summer. I am attending a meeting this week in London which is part of the process of organising this international meeting. It is hoped that up to 300 young people from across the Augustinian world will participate and, of course, since Ireland is the "nearest neighbour" we are being invited to participate with a will and a half.

These international meetings are organised around workshops to do with current themes; workshops about St Augustine and Augustinian Spirituality; Prayer and Sharing of thoughts, reflections and ideas.

Why not consider using part of your holidays next year to take part in this encounter which will be an opportunity to deepen your faith and increase your knowledge as well as the chance to meet other young people from all over the world???

More information will be made available to you through the core team member from your locality as the year progresses.

At the moment there is one particular thing to bear in mind. The organising group are looking for a Hymn/ Song that might be suitable as a unifying anthem for the festival. Have you written a song that might be suitable?
